Lawaqa Park is located in the township of Sigatoka and is a stones throw from the Sigatoka Police Station and Court House.
The facility was built in 1998 and is currently the home ground for the Coral Coast Sevens and Tourism HQ’s Fijian Cup tournaments. Lawaqa Park’s grass track circulates the periphery of the main pitch, and is used by schools in the Nadroga-Navosa region to prepare for the annual school athletic meets. Events hosted include the Coral Coast Sevens series, Fijian Cup tournaments, Fiji Football Association competitions, Farebrother Cup Challenge, primary and secondary school athletics competitions, and school camps.
